Who we are

Violent Pickle was a dream between my sister and I to have a family-owned company that focuses on our passions. For me, that passion is Pickleball!

Growing up playing tennis, I was introduced to Pickleball by my father-in-law. He called me one day and asked that I take a 2 hour drive to meet him at a tennis court. As the sun was setting, I arrived to find a smaller net set up on the court, with the car lights shining on the court for better sight. He taught me the basic rules of the game, including the confusing scoring, and we played into the night. Later that evening, as I was getting ready to go to bed, he informs me that I should get some rest because he signed us up for a tournament in the morning! That next day, we played our hearts out (he kept score) and we ended up bringing home the bronze! After that, I was hooked!

Years after, I found a group in my local area that played regularly (shout out to my peeps at 53rd Park). That is where I honed in my game, while creating life-long friends. It was at this park, that I began to notice the Pickleball nets breaking down over time. We tried to do the usual thing by taping them up with duct tape, but only to find that it was a mess, plus the problem kept coming back. One day, I came up with the idea of creating a plastic cover to better keep the nets at regulation hight, while being able to withstand the rigors of the outside elements. This is where Violent Pickle and NetRestore began!

We even used the our childhood carpet colors as our logo!

53rd Park is where it all began!
